  1.

I have a guide that is linked below and it should be applicable to the here.

  2.

You can copy and paste the whole ipconfig /all

The Local IP is wrong on the Palm. It should be 192.168.0.xxx where the xxx is a number 2 to 254.

I would go through my guide from top to bottom and make sure every setting is correct.

  3.

    That all looks correct........

Check my guide from top to bottom.

    Hey all,

Im new here and I'm really hoping someone can help me out.
I owe the Tungsten E2, and I can not figure out how to connect to the internet via bluetooth through my pc.

  5.

I have tried to set up a bluetooth connection with my PC to browse the internet. Of course I bought an adapter that did not come with Widcomm software so I had to download that. I have followed the guide at http://www.whizoo.com but still cannot view webpages. My plam will connect but when I try and browse the web all I get is the error message that the URL I entered is invalid. Any help would be appreciated.

  6.

Dean - just a quick thank you for your explicit instructions in getting my E2 to talk to the Internet via my PC. I really couldn't have done it with out them.

Oops! I left out a detail.

The Vaio connects to the router via a wireless network connection.

The Belkin F8T001 is a good Bluetooth adapter and comes with complete drivers. The V1 was the original version and had a little antennae on it this is no longer available. V2 is the one that is available in stores or online now.

You might find a V1 version on Ebay or something like that.

The guide works for TE2 as well. The most important issue I had was to override the microsoft bluetooth driver with the belkin bluetooth driver. Everything else fell into place nicely afterwards.

    No problem here, also FF.

But this guide only discusses Bluetooth. Not Wifi.
If you really want to go for Wifi you should go for TX (TE2 does not have it, you need an additional pricey SD card for this)
