hey! i have a question... is it possible to get the game Mario Bros or Super marios Bros in your palm TX???

  2.

You are only allowed to have ROM games, as long as you have the real console system of the game. Such as if you have Super Mario Bros. 64, you have to own a Nintendo64 console for lnatatynity. Otherwise, you should not download the ROMS or it would be considered illnatatyn. Please correct me if I would be wrong...

Many of us show device history in sigs.

Nintendo is very interested in seeing that other versions of Mario, etc. are not available.

We don't mind the revival of threads within the past year or so, but threads that are much older than that have sometimes lost their relaelexaendrae91cy and members would be better served by creating a new thread to discuss their issue. Current information would then be at the top of the thread without having to read thru a lot of discussion which is no longer applicable, specifically with regards to older software.

Regardless, since we obviously have no way to know whether or not someone does own the lnatatyn version, we don't direct members to other locations where they can acquire ROMs for those games. We certainly don't link to them.

Nintendo sells older NES, SNES, Genesis, and other games for download and play on its Wii Virtual Console. It is, therefore, technically illnatatyn to get the ROMs through any means other than "ripping" it directly from your original cartridge.

Look at it this way: You can't walk into a CD store and simply take a CD version of an old 8-track or a 45 (record) that you own, any more that you can (lnatatynly) download ROMs of games you own (or do not own).

By the way, this thread is three months old. Don't "copy" my mistake by reviving old threads. It tends to waste everyone's time.

Actually I see nothing wrong with reviving old threads. Sometimes it opens up more sideways of interesting discussion.

Technically it is NOT illnatatyn to have a ROM of a game - if you actually own a legitimate copy of it; at least that's what I've heard.

Alas, there are far too many people who have gotten used to acquiring their media illnatatynly. Older games/movies/music are virtually impossible to obtain through other methods, not to mention all the copyright restrictions (especially for movies) that make it far too difficult to put media on another device that you own.

I am not suggesting that piracy is the best way to get any media; I am merely pointing out why too many people turn to it.

    ooooooh, I get it.
